After Oregon’s devastating forest fires cut off access to Columbia River Gorge wedding venues, The Nursery graciously opened up their gorgeous Willamette Valley country estate to couples displaced by the natural disaster. With only a few weeks left until their wedding date, my son and his fiance were one of those displaced couples.

The owners worked with us to turn an unfortunate situation into a wonderfully memorable event! Their property provided a beautifully scenic setting for a late afternoon wedding and evening reception. The on-site Bridal Suite made available a luxurious retreat for the bridal party to prepare and relax during the day. The lawn area, with its elegant wooden gazebo, was a serene setting for the ceremony; and the ample reception patio, surrounded by landscaped, manicured grounds and overlooking a lush panoramic valley view, was a perfect space for dining and dancing. The Nursery’s hilltop location allowed for an unobstructed view of the sunset, which provided a glorious end to the joyful day!
